WORK OF EXCELLENCE FOR MORE THAN  60  YEARS.

Already well known in the late 1960s as a glass manufacturer for the construction industry, Vetreria Busnelli anticipated market needs by adding a mechanical workshop for iron and stainless steel processing to its glass department.

The company uses the know-how it has acquired and believes in the interaction between the two departments, glassworks and workshop, as the best solution to offer a highly demanding market solutions with a high design content.

The strong link with Saint Gobain, investments in the workshop, experience gained with important customers combined with expertise, control of all production processes and a desire to experiment enable the company to respond effectively to customer requests and allow Busnelli to present itself as the ideal partner for the creation of customised metal and glass works.

The family business began in 1958 when the founder, L.B., took over the mirror manufacturing business where he was employed. In 1973, in a hyperactive market, the company moved to a new 2,000 m² facility where one of the first insulating glass plants in Italy was installed and the metal carpentry department was created.

Growth necessitated a corporate restructuring, and in 1980, Vetreria Busnelli Srl was born. In 1982, the glass department joined the Climalit Saint Gobain brand, but it was the metal workshop that was the real driving force behind the company. Due to its need for space and process control, the current 4,000 m² headquarters in Lissone was built in 2002.

In 2003, the company expanded its expertise and know-how through the acquisition of shares in Isotempra Srl, a company specialising in tempering and laminating glass-glass and steel-glass. In the following years, the company continued to grow, renewing its production departments and expanding the knowledge of its team, attracting customers and partners not only from the Italian market but also from abroad. In 2025, the company, which is constantly growing, is renewing itself with an automated warehouse and new automatic machines for laser cutting and processing profiles and sheet metal.
