After a first collaboration in 2007, Busnelli has been called a second time by the owner for the realization of two new motor-driven sliding coverings for Martini Café in C.so Venezia 15, a trendy milanese place, born from the sinergy between Martini and Dolce & Gabbana.
The glass coverings, composed by some fixed parts and some sliding motor-driven ones which slide horizontally, have been completely designed, built and set by Busnelli, with a turnkey project. Both the coverings are realized with a metallic carpentry, completely protected with press-bended carters of polished stainless steel sheet, and stipples in low-iron laminated glasses. Sliding panels, as specifically asked from the client, are supplied with an automatic sliding hiding system.
The sliding covering installed in the entrance courtyard which leads to the café, at street number 15, has a surface of 97 m2, and its weight (summed to the loads it has been designed for) is sustained only by eight central pillars. The covering of the courtyard called "sartoria" not only covers a greater surface, 130 m2, and it is provided with two sliding panels, but it involves constant section support pillars 12 meters high.
