THERMAL INSULATING WINDOW AND DOOR FRAMING AND METAL SHEET FACADE

In the renovation project of the building at 23 Montenapoleone St., the new headquarter for Balenciaga brand, of the group Kering, Busnelli has been called to work at the windows and at the front doors of the main facade and of the courtyard.

For the facade in Montenapoleone St., the specific request was to realize windows with high acoustic and thermal performances, which should have preserved the existing wooden framings sections. This bond led to the realization of galvanized steel framings using Secco Sistemi sections, covered on the outside with painted durmast wood.

On Bigli St. the architects and customer's request was to use brass as material. Then, burnished brass framings have been installed. The front doors have been covered with burnished brass sheets with custom hole patterns.

For the inner courtyard Secco Sistemi framings in painted galvanized steel have been used: a continuous facade covering has been designed and realized, made by a sub-structrure in metallic carpentry and a covering in aluminum sheet metal with several holes patterns.
