FIXED AND SLIDING GLASSES WITH PACKING SYSTEM

Busnelli has worked at the new commercial area inside the touristic facility "Camping Marina di Venezia", placed in the city of Cavallino Treporti (VE). For this project fixed and sliding glasses have been designed with a packing system. This solution has been used in different spaces, among them we have: the restaurant, the ice-cream shop, the shops cluster.

The moveable walls, sliding and packable, were not designed for high acoustic and thermal performances, nonetheless they have been dimensioned and designed to answer to the typical requirements of partitions with separating functions between interior environments and exterior ones, in this case facing the sea. Some of these requirements are high loads due to the wind or to crowds and painting specifical classes, for high salinity areas.

The challenging request made by MTLC studio has been to realize moving walls with an height of more than three meters: besides these walls must be moved daily. All of this has brought to a patent for a new system of hung panels, travelling along an upper guide, without a lower one, with weights up to 150 kg/panel.
