STEEL AND GLASS STAIRCASE / FAÇADE EI

Inaugurated in 2023 CRIF S.P.A.'s new business centre called CRIF21, located in the Lame area of Bologna with a project by Politecnica Ingegneria ed Architettura.

In the entrance hall Busnelli was responsible for the design and execution of the EI steel fire façades developed on two floors with the insertion of double internal emergency exit doors. Each façade, six and a half metres high, was designed as a functional and architectural separating element between the double-height entrance space and the adjacent distribution spaces.

Busnelli also took care of the steel and glass staircases connecting the various floors, creating the parapets, intrados and side wall coverings. The parapets and the intrados of the stairs are made of pressed aluminium sheet painted with polyester powder with gravity assembly on a metal carpentry substructure. Busnelli also designed, produced and installed the tempered and back-painted glass panels fixed in extra-clear glass provided as cladding for the parapets and side walls.
