As part of the extension of the prestigious Badrutt’s Palace Hotel in St. Moritz, on Via Serlas, Busnelli was responsible for the design, fabrication and installation of the curved shopfronts, main entrance doors, and architectural claddings, all entirely made of burnished brass.
The shopfronts, located beneath the stone-clad arches of the façade, feature custom-made curved structures with tailor-designed brass profiles and high-performance insulated safety glass. The distinctive burnished finish, achieved through a fully handcrafted process, imparts a textured, material quality that aligns with the architectural language and the alpine context.
The entrance doors, serving the various access points of the new building, are fully clad in burnished brass, with integrated handles and concealed detailing. Designed to meet high standards of security, insulation, and durability, these elements provide a strong architectural presence and are perfectly integrated with the building’s natural materials and the geometric rigor of the overall design.
