WINDOWS AND DOORS, ENTRANCE, GLASS VERANDA ù, LIFT AND SLIDE WINDOWS

Set within the redevelopment of the historic building overlooking Lake Como, The Lake Como EDITION, in Cadenabbia, is a project in which historic architectural character meets a contemporary design language, with a strong focus on detail and quality of finishes.

For this luxury hospitality project, Vetreria Busnelli manufactured and installed bespoke metal and glass systems, contributing to the design of the entrances and the transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The scope of work included the entrance vestibule and handrails, manufactured with particular attention to precision and integration with the surrounding architecture.

Of particular significance are the closure systems for the areas overlooking the lake: lift-and-slide windows for the veranda and bi-folding doors for the patio. These solutions allow the spaces to be opened and configured flexibly, enhancing continuity between indoor and outdoor environments and strengthening the connection with the surrounding landscape.

All elements were custom-designed and manufactured, with careful attention to functional requirements, construction quality and coordination between the different architectural components.
